The origins of Scanlans date back over 150 years, together with Scanlans Consultant Surveyors LLP, we are able to offer a complete property management service.
Whilst we specialise in Residential Block Management we also have considerable experience in the management of retail, offices, industrial units and portfolios of residential properties in the public and private sectors.
We offer a wide range of property services to an ever-increasing and diverse client base. Our clients range from multinationals and institutions to small businesses and private individuals. Our reputation has been built on quality and personal recommendation.
We offer a nationwide service, with our central offices in the North West and the West Midlands. The Practice has 7 Partners and a combined workforce of 34 nationwide.
We aim to understand as much as possible about our clients’ businesses and their objectives and tailor our own service accordingly.
We are members of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and the Association of Residential Managing Agents (ARMA). Membership of these organisations provides a high level of support and regulation which is of benefit to the Partners and staff and also to our clients. There is no legal requirement for a Managing Agent to be regulated and many are not.
Managing agents like ourselves have a unique and important role to play in managing other peoples homes and money – a role that requires an in-depth knowledge of residential management, a wide range of skills and the utmost professionalism.
As members of the RICS our standards of quality are strictly regulated. However, ARMA is the only body in England and Wales which exclusively regulates the management of residential leasehold blocks of flats and so we can demonstrate to our clients that we also meet ARMA’s exacting quality standards by operating within their strict Code of Practice.
