Services Management and Repairs
We think it’s important to ensure you receive value for money in the provision of all services, so we work hard to ensure that service charges are kept to a reasonable level without affecting the quality of service. The provision of such services follows our tender procedure, and all contracts are subject to poor performance clauses and reviewed on a regular basis.
We only use independent contractors who are vetted to ensure that they have the relevant insurances and meet minimum health and safety requirements. Scanlans management and repair services covers Leeds and the Greater Yorskhire area, Liverpool, Birmingham, Manchester and Chester.
Repairs & Emergency cover
Our Property Managers and Property Assistants will arrange for all minor items of repair. All repairs are logged, and then monitored by the team; from the initial report to final invoices, which are checked prior to payment. Rates are tested and alternative quotations are sought to ensure that value for money is provided.
Larger or complex works are overseen by specialist consultants in accordance with appropriate professional practice and are subject to additional charges to be agreed for each project.
We also provide 24 hour telephone cover for every day of the year to deal with emergencies at developments we manage. Our out of hours support team has comprehensive knowledge of each development and is able to contact your Property Manager if needed.
