At Scanlans we value all of our staff and are committed to career progression. To aid in this process we have three Team Leaders, experienced Property Managers, who are available as an additional point of contact and who offer training and guidance to other staff members.

We are also regulated by the FSA in the conduct of insurance business and carry the appropriate level of Professional Indemnity Insurance. Membership of these organisations provides our clients with peace of mind and the assurance of a professional approach.

SENIOR SCANLANS TEAM
Ian Magenis:
Assoc. RICS MTPI
Ian joined Scanlans in 2000, having been an Associate at a property management company in London. Over the last 20 years Ian has developed an extensive knowledge of landlord and tenant matters, specialising in providing advice on Right to Manage, Right to Appoint and general tenant disputes. Ian is a strong advocate of tenant’s disputes and provides advice and guidance on Right to Manage applications.
Ian’s primary role is day-to-day management of the office, development and client liaison. In his spare time, Ian is a frustrated golfer and father of three.
Alex Normand:
Assoc.RICS MTPI
Alex joined in 2004 initially starting as a Property Assistant. Alex is a valued member of the team recognised by clients and colleagues alike. She was a finalist in Young Property Manager of the Year in The national News on The Block Awards and was promoted to Senior Property Manager in 2014.
Michael Willans:
BSc AssocRICS MTPI
Michael is heading up the Property Management Department in Leeds and comes with a wealth of experience having been a Property Manager with several National companies for over 18 years all in the Yorkshire Area. Michael has experience in managing varied sizes and types including mixed-use schemes and is particularly drawn to challenging sites
